Complaints Procedure

Our Commitment to Excellence

At Bridge Solicitors, we strive to provide the highest standard of service to our clients. We understand, however, that there may be times when our services may not meet your expectations. Our commitment to excellence means we take any concerns or dissatisfaction very seriously and are dedicated to resolving them promptly and fairly.

Initial Steps for Addressing Concerns

If you have concerns about our services, we encourage you to first discuss these directly with the solicitor or team member managing your case. This can often be the fastest way to address and resolve any issues. You can reach out to them via email, phone, or by scheduling a meeting, whichever method you prefer.

Formal Complaint Process

Should you feel that your concerns have not been adequately addressed, we invite you to initiate a formal complaint. Please contact us at [email protected] or write to us at Bridge Solicitors Limited, Houldsworth Mill, Houldsworth Street, Stockport, SK5 6DA. In your complaint, provide a detailed description of your concerns and any relevant information to help us understand and resolve the issue.

We aim to acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 48 hours and respond comprehensively within 14 working days.

Further Steps

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to escalate your complaint. You can refer your concerns to the Legal Ombudsman within six months of receiving our final response. The Legal Ombudsman’s services are available if your complaint is made within 6 years from the date of the act/omission, or within 3 years from when you should reasonably have known there was cause for complaint.
